The perfect snack to take to the camp, the trail, the water, or any outdoor adventure!  These peppers are the made from all natural ingredients and naturally preserved for a great healthy snack.  One taste and you'll be hooked!

History

Several years ago a former Bulgarian Nuclear Engineer’s daughter played softball on a team coached by a former U.S. Government Senior Program Manager.  In true American fashion, conversation sparked a friendship and two years later, Tiko and Chip have partnered to form Tiko and Chip Enterprises to bring you Tiko’s Fire Roasted Peppers (and other great products like Tiko’s Jalapeño Jelly!).  Made with all natural ingredients and organically preserved with apple cider, extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of salt.  Slice the peppers for hamburgers, tacos, burritos, salads or even to eat by themselves!  Then use the olive oil, garlic, dill and salt as a spicy salad dressing or pour into chili to add a flavorful kick.  We even had one gentleman write to us about frying chicken basted in this spicy sauce.  These peppers come in both a hot and mild version so as not to offend the senses.

What Makes Tiko's Peppers so Addictive?

Chilies contain a chemical called Capsaicin that is concentrated in the veins of the fruit.  This chemical stimulates the nerves in your mouth, causing your brain to think you are in pain.  In response, your brain releases chemicals called endorphins which have a chemical structure similar to morphine.  These chemicals cause a mild euphoria that can literally make hot peppers mildly addictive!

Tiko's Fire Roasted Peppers are available in Hot or Mild!  You may mix and match your order however you wish.   When you place your order, simply note in the "Comments" section when you check out how many of which flavor you would like.

Is it wrong to love a pepper?   12/29/2008

My dad first introduced me to Tiko''s. One bite and I knew that he had found something special. Since then, I''ve diced them in salsa, sliced them on sandwiches, laid them whole on top of black beans and rice as well as other culinary applications too numerous to mention. I''ve yet to find a dish which they do not improve. You could eat these with old shoe leather and still be pretty pleased with your meal. Having said that, my favorite way to eat them is still on their own right out of the jar.
Smooth Heat   10/14/2008

I tried Tiko''s Peppers both mild and hot and they were excellent. I''m a "light weight" when it comes to the "heat" but Tiko''s mild was just right for me. The peppers have a smooth texture going down with just the right amount of "bite" for your taste. I highly recommend Tiko''s Peppers.
Yummy!!   9/2/2008

I must confess that I was initially skeptical; I have never seen anything quite like Tiko & Chip''s peppers. But my curiosity won out, and I started by just slicing off a big chunk of pepper and eating it. What a delight! Since then I''ve cooked them in eggs, sliced them on sandwiches, and spiced up hash-browned potatoes. I look forward to trying some of the other ideas I''ve read on this page. If you''re looking for a reason to try them, look no further. They are GOOD.
